Suduku

Suduku? Sudoku?

Heck the spelling, you get the idea.

I played Suduku with Jasmine, a.k.a Wai Chu and Eddy (Cooperatively) via MSN when i was extremely bored and now, i just can't get my mind off the game.

It just keeps making me think and analyse. That's addictive.

Anyway, gonna lay off blogging for a while and keep to solving more & MORE Suduku Puzzles!

Muhahaha!

Broken Spectacles. Argh.

I need to be more gentle with my spectacles.... I was so tired i fell asleep wearing my specs and i woke up seeing them in terrible shape.

Now i can't see, and i keep straining my eyes. Help!

Should i get another silver framed spectacles? or blue?

Recommendations anyone?

Windows Vista...

Windows Vista! Ole!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Flipping through 'Digital Times' that comes together with 'The Straits Times', i read about an article telling you how to transform your Windows XP to the latest Windows Vista without paying a single cent. Yes! its Free of Charge!

Now, before everyone starts jumping all over the palce (in joy), i suggest you take note that the transformation is not 100%. I mean... if we (the non-computer literate) can get everything Vista offers for free, then what's Microsoft gonna earn? What's available is nevertheless a fantastic visual change.

Take it as a new desktop theme or something. The transformation transforms your entire desktop, including desktop icons, taskbar, Start menu, 'starting' and 'shutting-down' interphase (with sounds) and the new software that makes your desktop look cool by making stuff semi-transparent. (oOh... imagine using that software on clothes!) Okay, gotta stop thinking like that...

Anyway, the link to this guy's blog (the guy who came up with this amazing software to transform your nearly-obsolete Windows XP to Vista), is the Windows X's Shrine.

Its definitely worth a visit for those who wants to take a look at the latest Vista layout first hand. To those Tech-Geeks, its more than worth a visit cuz the site provides latest information / rumours about IT stuff in the articles.

Good friends or more

Today i read someone's blog and I thought that the person and I think alike. The similarity of our thoughts actually scares me.

On a side note, we happen to have the same model of computer too.

Ont thought comes to mind: Coincidence?

'There is no such thing as coincidence, there is only inevitable'

Heard this phase somewhere in a movie...

Cheap Mags.

Someone reminded me that there are cheap hk & tw mags at Tampines;Century Square. But the catch is that the issues are 1-2 weeks late.

That's fine with me. =DDD

SG Magazines.

SG Magazines?

Not for me. Someway or other, Sg Mags like '8days' or 'I weekly' and many others don't really catch my eye. I usually make do with some sports mags or news. BoRinG.

Got my hands on some Taiwan and HK Mags, and felt my life brighten up. Haha. Blame it on my in quisitive nature or my love for great pictures, i just love the stuff in these magazines.

Juicy Gossips and 'realistic' rumors fill pages after pages but the more factual stuff about what the artistes are currently involved in are hidden in that colourful bunch of papers too. Although these gossips and rumours (or fei wen) are our general favourites, there are a lot of awfully nice pictures that capture our attention.

Besides the typical 'paparazi' pictures of artistes in secret (or Now not-so-secret) relationships, there are other nice articles with pictures of food, scenery, clothes and whatever the article is about.

Close-ups of all pictures, even those of advertisements are perfect. And you know, advertisements always seem to be an eyesore to me when i browse mags but the advertisements in hk, tw mags are so well designed and colourful that I became attentive at the products they are advertising. LOL. Be it some healthcare products, handphones or products to beautify our already beautiful pets. (p.s. love this picture of this dog sticking out its pink tongue)

So, SG Magazines should buck up and improve? or are we constrained by budgets and profits? Well, we need more people to advertise in magazines and we NEED these advertisements to be made cheaper. C-h-e-a-p-e-r. Things are really getting expensive these days, not to mention the soon-to-be implemented 7% GST. Dear Gahmen, pls help people like me tide over these tough changes...

Back to the point, hk and tw mags are really gd, for those who love mags, or to those who don't, jsut grab one and read. You'd like it. (oh, they are in chinese, so potato-eaters, my humble apologies. =D)

Too bad my scanner is unfixed with the recent massive overhaul of my room, or I'd upload some really good pictures. Stay Tuned...
