Wii Sports Resort!

There are approx. 12 different games and includes the new and upgraded wii-remote add on. And it should be available in July-August. Sooo excited! definitely a must-have game. But sch's starting....should buy???

Magical Me 2!

Well, its really been ages since i posted anything. :P So, i thought i should really relaunch this blog and hence we now have Magical Me 2! or sth like that. hahaha. Anyway, sch's gonna commence and i'm sure more posts would be coming along soon. :)

Botak Jones

Went to Botak Jones @ Bedok for dinner and i find the food really great.

They had lots of nice stuff, ranging from pasta to grills. The servings are pretty large with a HUGE portion of fries and i really mean huge...

The price's really reasoable, well maybe its because its situated around the HDB areas, but who's gonna complain when the stuff's cheaper than you'd expect it to be? haha.

The staff's friendly enough and was pretty helpful when we wanted more erm, fries and sauces. haha. And yeah, u can ask for more fries without additional costs.

Wanted to take some peektures but i was really too hungry to snap photos when i am staring at all the food. And, my sis wouldn't have waited for my to snap pics before she diggs in too...haha.

Oh, and the other more interesting stuff abt the place, is their menu: quotes

This is a very common problem that men often complain about.
Many peopl upgrade from GIRLFRIEND 7.0 to WIFE 1.0.1 thinking that it is just a utilities and
entertainment program. WFE 1.0.1 is an OPERATION SYSTEM and is designed by its creator
to run EVERYTHING. It is also impossible to delete WIFE 1.0.1 and return to GIRLGRIEND
7.0.

It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.
You cannot go back to GIRLFRIEND 7.0 because WIFE 1.0.1 is designed not to allow this. Look
in WIFE 1.0.1 manual under WARNINGS: ALIMONY AND COMMUNITY PROPERTY. I
recommend that you just keep WIFE 1.0.1 and work on improving the situation. I suggest
installing the background application YES DEAR 2.7 to allivate your program problems.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will
have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will retun to normal anyway.
WIFE 1.0.1 is a great program but it tends to be very high maintenance. WIFE 1.0.1 does
however, come with several spport programs such as CLEAN AND SWEEP 3.0, COOK IT 1.5
and SEX 4.2.

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause
the system to launch the program NAG NAG 9.5 (high number obviously means more
powerful...). Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of WIFE 1.0.1 is to
purchase additional software. I recommend FLOWERS 2.1and DIAMONDS 5.0.

WARNING!! Do not under any circumstances install SECRETARY WITH SHORT SKITY 3.3.

This appliation is NOT supported by WIFE 1.0.1 and will cause irreversible damage to the
operating system.

New Phone!

As expected, spent nearly S$300 to buy the Sony Ericsson K800i from Starhub. However, i couldn't get the phone in the colour i wanted (Black or Champagne).


@James Bond might have used the phone in silver, but i prefer the one in black!

Got the phone in Silver instead. Starhub actually asked me to wait (indefinitely) for the stock to come in, but after having to use my previous handphone for more than 2 years, i decided not to wait (indefinitely).

Sent the first sms from my k800i to my dearest.

Under the Canopy of Love

Don't get misled by the title, i am not exactly 'Under the Canopy of Love' at the moment, still working hard on it.

Instead, I've been watching the HK Serial ' Under the Canopy of Love' with Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow, and i just feel like talking about it a little. So, indulge me.

Basically the show's about Kevin and Niki, and with the subsequent introduction of Bosco into Niki's life. Honestly, i felt that Bosco would have succeeded if there wasn't Kevin in the first place. Bosco's character is really a nice and honest chap. The show isn't all about relationships, there's interesting stuff about Kevin's job, e.g. him being thought as the CEO's 'unofficial' son, his run-ins with his boss, e.t.c.

Watching the serial has been a pleasure. I liked Kevin's character who was suave and cool. I loved Niki for being so demure and nice to the guy she likes, but hated her for being a bitch when she doesn't tell Kevin that she still likes him after they had a tiff...just tell the guy what you feel lah! Guys do tell white lies sometimes, accept that. Bosco's great in the show too, but i choose not to focus on him. =P

That's my take on the show. Good Serial, typical of TVB and hopefully more good stuff to come.

Enjoying the well-deserved rest

Ahh...It really feels GREAT! to wake up late in the morning, and not having to worry about lotsa stuff. ( Guess guys who are going through their service or having gone through their service would agree with me)

Everything seems nice. The weather, the sun, the wind, the thick bulky books that has been on my desk for a long Long~ time, and the TV! I am finally able to find time to watch the HK serials that my mom rented. One of which is 'Under the Canopy of Love', with Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow.



Nevertheless, the first thing i did , was to look for a new phone. I have been loooking at the Sony Ericsson k00i and Nokia's N73 for quite a few months now. N73 is around S$500 and k800i is around S$ 300 (with plan).






I really really like the Nokia N73 but the price is really to ex for me. Should be going for the K800i.

KFC Feast

Been a while since i last posted, so gonna go back a little. (Been bz enjoying myself and resting :P )

Ok, anyway, i finished my service already and as a form of goodwill, my colleague and i treated everyone to KFC, spending nearly S$100 in the process. We made use of their delivery service and ordered 2 sets of 'KFC Mega Meal' (s$47.95 each) , with 16 pieces of Chicken, 2 large Popcorn Chicken, 9 Crispy Nuggets, 2 Large Coleslaw, 2 Large Whipped Potato for each set. So, imagine 32 pieces of chicken....yeah. Lotsa of food.

As there were about 10 persons, we thought there would be quite a bit of leftovers BUT... apparently, the word 'free' caused many of our friends to transform into hungry wolves... and all the food were depleted by the end of lunch time. Lol.



Good times. Missed my boss, colleagues and friends.

Overseas Holiday?

Now that i have a little more time, and seeing that my friends are going on holidays of various lengths, i humbly intend to find some exotic destination to have a short holiday.

As the cost of the holiday package, is directly proportional to the length of the holiday and the distance of the destination from Singapore, i have decided to have a thorough consideration of three (3) destinations.

One: Taiwan. I have relatives these and i think i would be able to save up on lodging and stuff. Which thereby increases the amount of $$$ that i can budget into spending on clothes and gifts. Oh, and food too. Btw, heard the girls there v. cute.

Two: Hong Kong. Yeap. HK is definitely a great destination for Food and Shopping. With all the flashy advertisements on their spa, i also wanna try that out too, irregardless of whether their spa(s) provide the traditional extra-service or nt... Anyway, i really think its a great holidaying destination. However, the downside is that i have to spend on lodging myself, and HK does not exactly have cheap lodging. Less $$$ to budget into buying the stuff there. Looks like i can only buy their 'counterfeit' stuff at their popular 'nu ren jie'. But seriously, who actually cares if your shirt is from 'ARMANI' or 'AVARNI" (or so called the 'pirated' version). Looks the same, can already right??? Finally, their girls (er, ladies) also belong to the cute and pretty grp. Think Charmaine Sheh, Shirley Yeung. Need i say more? Seriously!

Third: Melbourne / Tasmania. Melbourne and Tazzie, the two good places to go sight-seeing. These two places give me the impression that they are places with great scenery. Mountains and Plantations. Some friend of my planted this thought of going these two places and its sort of stuck onto my head. Was thinking i could take the opportunity to meet up with my friends there, and if i coincide it with my friends who are gong to melbourne, i can meet even more friends! But alas, all these plans come to naught if i do not consider the economical implications of the travelling. All of us have to watch our bottomlines. The airport tax for Australia is pretty scary, i think its about the cost of a two-way trip to HK or Taiwan (including the airport tax), and i would also have to pay for my food and stuff. I've heard that my friend can provide the lodging part. Great! Whoo-hoo. Now coming to the usual evaluation, the girls there, i really dunnoe...but with all that nice sea-view and scenery, I don't really think the girls seriously matter.

Blah blah blah.. Irregardless, i will have to balance my cash assets by getting work to cover these expenses. Looks like my plan to be plain fucking lazy has just been quashed.

My Friends

Since, I am moving on, to go to uni for Orientation, have fun and stuff, i decide to reminiscence a little.

First, i am gonna talk about Emily. I have been seeing her super frequently for about a year already and she really helps me out a lot in my work. haha. She's someone really really hardworking and diligent. Smart too, cannot anyhow 'smoke' her u knoE? lol.

She's really easy-going and nice to talk to (but can be quite fierce one). Don't play play. LoL.

She's also into hip-hop! and techno. Love that genre of music.

Well, there's also Cindy who tried so hard to make me exercise and encourage me to get in shape, but there's another story.

New Blogskin

(Reposting under the same topic again. I try to remember what I was ranting about before my post was freaking deleted...here goes nth...)

Just fuck it.

Finally decided on using this simple typical Blogger template after keeping my blog in the 'freezer' for nearly 2 months. I feel darn stupid.

Prior to this, i have tried out various templates, ranging from Final Fantasy themes, Kingdom Hearts (with goody and donald duck background), Toilet Plumbing (yes, with those Pipes!), instruments and flower backgrounds but i just cant find one that is comfortable with the eyes.

So, after this thorough roundabout, I have returned to the simplest of simple backgrounds. A Blogger template. I guess simplicity IS beautiful.

It just keeps making me think and analyse. That's addictive.
